Dream Dragon

This thing kept showing up in my dreams, to the point where I just had to make it real somehow. I can't explain it, but I know this thing's a dragon.
Acrylic, 4x4.

The Skull Beast

A great, terribly passive creature, the skull beast languidly marches through the ambiguous southlands, serving as a sort of evanescent transportation for natives of the lands seeking release from the harrowing existence of having a head looking like a hadrosaur skull.
Only in the most unfortunate of circumstances do the most devious frog-folk of the most dubious territories make an appearance of disturbance to the delicate composures of the rifled ones.

Here's to grandiose dreams of future colorings.

An Academic Portrait and Reindeer

These are a couple of sketches I did during class, edited later.

A portrait of the artist as a young man incapable of properly holding Book.
Also appearing: I don't think finches are as frightening as they are in my head, Merry-Go-Round patent illustration, Squiggles.

Holy Knife, nice reindeer.

The Virgin and Her Demon Friends

An odd fascination of mine, a strange obsession almost, is Catholic veneration art, especially of the Virgin Mary. Especially odd as I am violently not-a-catholic. I often find drawings of mine ending up with halos or the like, and sometimes just straight turning into virginesque depictions. The whole "threatened by demons" thing really interests me as I have know idea where it has come from - some deep seated and unresolved personal resolutions, I suppose.
What follows are some of these apparitions that I am personally fond of.

Sir Ian's Epiphany

My second go at India Inkin'. The text is direct translation from some Polish.
I have no ideas as to other possible messages, so I'm assuming this is the proper interpretation.
Does anyone even remember Sir Ian Blair? Why is he (somewhat) here?

Veneration of Whoredom

One thing I've really found strange lately is the way in which popular western culture treats promiscuity and the idea of many partners being a sign of societal success. The whore is good because she allows so many to achieve the self esteem and stats they desire. The whore is bad because she cheapens the effect. But why, why do we even need this standard of judgment? That magic point where you've fucked enough others with the most stoic of face; that moment where you can now love someone and not be ridiculed for it - what a strange idea. I don't know how to express this really, but I just can't wrap my head around how one's number of partners is their success, yet at the same time I hold myself to this standard and it haunts me.
Fuck this.
Fuck sex.
Fuck art.
Let's dance.

A Mythological Wonder

Don't Look Behind You!

You won't be able to see it anyway.

I impress myself with this one, but because I drew it so so very long ago.
